Jummah Khutba: Check Your Faith During Safar

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim

Friday afternoon, Safar 1, 1431 (January 15, 2010)

Sheykh Efendi is saying that the during the month of Safar, believers must have more awareness. Believers must follow Shariat – the laws of ALLAH swt as revealed in Holy Kuran, taught by the Prophets, and exemplified in the sunnah. Check the level of your faith to be ready for S. Azreal (Angel of Death). Check your activity for what you do for the sake of ALLAH. Check to see if you are renewing your shehada everyday to keep your faith alive. Keep obedience to your rightly guided leaders, to be obedient to ALLAH swt. During this month of Safar, say 500 ‘Astaghfirullah’ every day.

Your shehadat is the only thing that can save you, not doctors, not 911. If you are a believer, every day must be better for your ahirat.

Sheykh Efendi is saying that Islam is a complete lifestyle. But Muslims have come under the control of zionists and the lifestyle they are promoting. Holy Prophet pbuh said that a believer does not fool anyone, and cannot be fooled by anyone. But Muslims have developed fear of death, and are losing fear of ALLAH swt. If you don’t keep the shehadat alive in yourself, you turn away from having hope in ALLAH swt and start to believe in other things – like pills and doctors. People are being fooled by academic knowledge. Work for ahirat.

The bad feelings you are carrying toward other people- anger and jealousy- are weighing you down. They begin to smell like a load of rotten potatoes over time. Get rid of that burden you are carrying, and keep ALLAH swt in your heart for your protection.

All knowledge is to put the ego down, knowledge is to understand yourself and to become humble, to know that the oceans of knowledge you know is nothing from the knowledges that you do not know. Make your prayers and be patient.
