Sheykh Efendi is speaking about the many events that are remembered for happening on the 10th of Muharrem: Adam (as) was forgiven; the ship of Nuh (as) settled on land; the sea parted for Musa (as) to lead the Bani Israel to safety; Yunus (as) was freed from the fish; Ismael (as) was born; Hazreti Huseyin (ra) was martyred. Now, a big wind is coming with a flood of fire. To be in safety, be around the Ahl ul-Beyt – members of the family of Holy Prophet (saws).

Paradise lies at the feet of some mothers – those who are obedient to the Will of ALLAH swt. Anger is not for women. Story of blacksmith taking care of his mother, why he did it, and the stations of both mother and son. Some mothers today are not approving their children’s Islamic lifestyle. Be careful of what you say because it may come true if you are beloved to ALLAH swt.

Sit and meditate, think about what you are doing and why. you are accountable for the intention behind your deeds.

It is easier when you are living for the sake of ALLAH.

You have been created to know yourself, to know your Lord, and to worship your Lord. Knowledge is to know your limits.

The principles of Islam are to keep the faith strong. Allah swt is just, He does not give you a burden you cannot carry. Allah swt shows you the way out. The bad feelings you are carrying toward other people- anger and jealousy- are weighing you down. They begin to smell like a load of rotten potatoes over time. Get rid of that burden you are carrying, and keep ALLAH swt in your heart for your protection.

Sheykh Abdul Kerim Efendi is saying in ahir zaman (end times), carrying faith, the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad saws, is like carrying fire. Sahabis were tortured- just for saying they were believers. Today, excuses never finishing. Where do you stand? Check yourself, be with Haqq. Keep your shehadat strong, keep your five times prayers, as soon as Azrail is coming, it may be too late. All knowledge is to put the ego down, knowledge is to understand yourself and to become humble, to know that the oceans of knowledge you know is nothing from the knowledges that you do not know. Make your prayers and be patient.
