Holy Prophet (sws) is saying that his nation will lose its head. They will stop ordering for Truth/Hakk (Emri bil Maruf), which is fard (obligatory). They will no longer try to stop wrong activities (Nehyi anil Munkar). Live the way you believe or you will start to believe the way you live.

Holy Prophet (sws) said “May Allah swt not leave us to the hands of our ego.” Enter into the circle of protection, in the holy association of one of the Friends of Allah. It is good manner to know our weaknesses and to hold onto Allah swt. The holy ones came to teach us how to hold on. Learn from the Master how to tell which side you ego is coming from and to control it.

Sheykh Abdul Kerim Efendi is saying the knowledge you need is to know your Lord. The first ten days of Dhul Hijja (month of Pilgrimage – Hajj) are the most important of the Islamic calendar in terms of what you can gather for the afterlife. Try to fast and to pray at night. The way you live is the way you will die is the way you will rise.

Knowledge cannot be in the same place as arrogance, ignorance and stubbornness. Knowledge brings you to safety in dunya, the grave, and hereafter life. It is necessary throughout all life. However, you must run after knowledge that is for you, and avoid knowledge that is forbidden to you. First you have to understand, what is for me? You have been created to know yourself, to know your Lord, and to worship your Lord. Knowledge is to know your limits.
