Sheykh Abdul Kerim Efendi is asking “What qualifies a person to speak on behalf Islam?” Then he goes on to say that philosophy, reading books on hadith, and relying on your experience in a secular system are not preparation for speaking about Islam. Knowledge of the ayats of the Kuran, living the Sunnah, and consultation are required. Without these, do not speak.

Islam cannot be changed to match your ideas, your beliefs, your lifestyle. Ignorants and the tools of shaytan are out there now, showing signs to the wrong direction. The ones holding the light of Islam are hidden. You have to look for those ones to find the true Islam.

It’s never too late to understand what ALLAH swt wants from you. Learn from being with the saliheen (righteous ones).
