Sheykh Abdul Kerim Efendi is asking “What qualifies a person to speak on behalf Islam?” Then he goes on to say that philosophy, reading books on hadith, and relying on your experience in a secular system are not preparation for speaking about Islam. Knowledge of the ayats of the Kuran, living the Sunnah, and consultation are required. Without these, do not speak.

Afterwards, Sheykh Abdul Kerim Efendi is saying that to progress in tarikat, you must connect with someone who represents Holy Prophet Muhammad (saws) on earth in these times. Spend a few minutes a day to build the connection. Initiation sets your tombstone in place; now you begin to prepare for your grave. Naksibendi Hakkani way forbids anger. The Shaykh teaches what you need. There is nothing you can give the Shaykh.

Stop complaining; this means you are happy with your Lord. After hardship comes ease, then hardship again. ALLAH swt puts everyone under test. Be patient with the tests. It is easier when you are living for the sake of ALLAH.
