Don’t concern yourself with other people’s actions. Be concerned with living and dying as a believer. Live with the things that you dislike. Learn to be a servant.

Sheykh Efendi is saying that ALLAH swt ordered us to drop everything worldly to come to Jummah, because if you are busy with the service of your Lord, the world will run after you. The invitation is to go back to paradise. Use your breath wisely while you live so you will go out of this world through the right door. Be merciful to yourself. It’s never too late to understand what ALLAH swt wants from you. Learn from being with the saliheen (righteous ones).

Someone asked a question. Sheykh Abdul Kerim Efendi responded by saying to take one fault at a time and try to correct it. ALLAH swt, His Holy Prophet pbuh, and the awliya are watching you. They are watching to see if you correct your mistakes. Make rabita every day to understand what you are doing wrong in their eyes. What are you doing and what was your intention? Make tauba and ask for their help. Then try to not do those things, and to become a better servant. Every day the believer must progress. Then the veils of the heart begin to open.

Şeyh Efendi is saying that blessing is coming through association and sohbet. Education in schools teaches about the world. Holy associations teach about ahirat (life hereafter) and the road back to Paradise. The holy ones follow the example of Holy Prophet Muhamad saws. They show the way back through Islam and the lifestyle of Holy Prophet aleyh as-salatu ve selam. Sayidina Mehdi aleyhi selam and Hazreti Isa aleyhi selam are coming – so is dajjal (anti-christ). Hold on to your sheikh.

Be with good ones. Don’t take titles for yourself; the good ones will give you title of ‘servant.’ Keep your tongue. Say only good things. Once shaitan was a good one, but he was proud of himself. He forgot he was a servant. Become one of the good ones to be ready for going out from this world.

The original order is faith – believe in ALLAH swt and believe in ahirat. Prophets were sent to show people how to have safety in the next life. People are forgetting that they will die. They must follow the orders of the prophets. We are blessed with being the Nation of Muhammad pbuh and with having given shehada. But if you are not holding to the order of ALLAH and His Prophet, your safety in ahirat is in question. Fix yourself – for your safety, follow the Shaykh, not your ego and shaytan.
