Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim

Saturday, May 31, 2008 (JumadAwal 25, 1429)

Do not be fooled by the appearance of calm and normalcy in dunya. This is the end times. You must act on what is right, knowing it through your heart by your shahadat. Shahada gives benefit to you if you are aware, and not heedless. Faith cannot exist in the heart along with sin. Great danger if the Angel of Death comes at that time.

Muslims are not living what they believe, and will not leave correct Islam to their children. Faith is not moving people. Istanbul will be conquered again, but not by heedless, dreaming people. Check yourself. Live for the sake of Allah, for Islam.

Sheykh Efendi is saying that Holy Prophet Muhammad saws left us with
the Good Manner. What are you bringing to the association and what
are you leaving? Can the people say about you, “He was a good
person.”? Are you also getting better?

Friday JumadAwal 17, 1429 (May 23, 2008)

Someone asked a question. Sheykh Abdul Kerim Efendi is saying your body is not yours to do what you want. Allah swt has given mankind a free will, but everything is happening inside the general will. This body does not belong to you, from where did you get the right to destroy it? You can no authority on your body. For mumins (believers), there is no depression. For any situation you are in, Allah swt opens a door for you for a way out. Allah swt is saying to us He is going to test us through our wealth, health, children, loved ones- all this, it is only a confusion. The love, you don’t have to have anything in return in the love. It does not fit to the majesty of Allah swt to burden His servant with something he cannot carry- He is sending the patience and power to you to carry it.

ALLAH (swt) sent Prophets to mankind throughout history to remind them that they are His servants, not slaves of dunya. Living the shahadat and making proper rabita to discover the purpose and value of your life is enough to find peace in life. Be thankful.

Sheykh Efendi is saying love comes from ALLAH swt. You must be loving and respecting ALLAH swt and those that ALLAH swt loves. People need love- it is in their nature; but so many are separated from Love – no feeling or egoistic love. Mankind is only running to please the temporary body, not turning to remember and love their Lord sincerely, especially during the nighttime. If you are experiencing the love of ALLAH swt, you must give it out to others. You must apply the love of ALLAH swt to your actions for your spirit to be happy.

Sheykh Abdul Kerim Efendi is saying that those who read the book of Allah continuously, who keep their 5 daily prayers and who share from the favors that have been given to them with others, they should expect and wait for good results. For safety and for inner peace, read more Quran (murids should be reading 1 juz of Quran every day or reciting Ikhlas 100 times); keep your wird, and read hadith (Sheykh Efendi recommends reading 3 hadith a day and applying it to your life). Don’t speak so much of what you think you know.
