Sheykh Abdul Kerim Efendi is asking “What qualifies a person to speak on behalf Islam?” Then he goes on to say that philosophy, reading books on hadith, and relying on your experience in a secular system are not preparation for speaking about Islam. Knowledge of the ayats of the Kuran, living the Sunnah, and consultation are required. Without these, do not speak.

Sheykh Efendi is saying that the holy month of Muharram is entering. Year 1430 is ending. Follow someone, and become a thankful servant. If you are living for ALLAH, no attacks from anyone can harm you. Be thankful even for your body, before it fails and Azrael comes. Ask forgiveness. Change to do better. Sit and meditate, think about what you are doing and why. you are accountable for the intention behind your deeds.

People have forgotten the reason for their creation, understanding everything through the ego, understanding wrong. Correct obedience is to the ones who are obeying ALLAH swt and His Prophet saws, not to the ones who try to stop you from the way of ALLAH and His Prophet.

Sheykh Efendi was saying that Ramazan is the month of rahmet and mercy for the believers who take it seriously, trying to come closer to ALLAH swt. It is the month of patience – to have authority on yourself and to show compassion to the ones you have authority over. The worst confusion is going to come out from the shaykhs and the imams in the hutbe place – calling people toward dunya. Prophet saws said that for your good deeds during Ramazan, the rewards are multiplying. Fast from all haram and from your bad habits.

Sheykh Efendi is saying that the honor of an obedient servant keeps going higher, and he becomes beloved to ALLAH swt. The year in which Leylatul Miraj occurred was most difficult for Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when he was very lonely, and when he was required to declare prophethood. That night ALLAH swt showed Prophet everything He had created; He comforted him and let him know that he was not alone. Then Holy Prophet continued his work, along with the sahabis, who gave their lives. We need these holy nights to gather power to continue on the path of servanthood, to remember to avoid running after dunya, to live as Muslims, and to raise our children properly.

People need love- it is in their nature; but so many are separated from Love – no feeling or egoistic love. Mankind is only running to please the temporary body, not turning to remember and love their Lord sincerely, especially during the nighttime. If you are experiencing the love of ALLAH swt, you must give it out to others. You must apply the love of ALLAH swt to your actions for your spirit to be happy.

Sheykh Efendi is saying humans and jinns were created to know ALLAH swt and to worship ALLAH swt. If a person is not doing that, there is no peace. People are punctual for their business in dunya, but not for the work of ALLAH swt. ALLAH swt is forgiving as long as we have the breath of life, if only we ask sincerely. But we have to keep the reason of our creation alive in ourselves all the time. We gave the promise to be in His service on the Day of Promises. You can live as you like, but there is not much time left to become a good servant. Leave laziness and resting and run in the way of ALLAH swt to catch up what you have left behind.
